How to make your car alarm stop?

I auto-started my car in the driveway this morning and accidentally hit the car alarm. I cannot make it stop beeping, and it’s driving me crazy. How can I make my car alarm stop?

Sorry to hear about your situation, but generally you can disable your car’s alarm by restarting your vehicle or hitting the panic button a second time. If neither of those options work, attempt to manually lock and unlock your vehicle with the car’s key.
Other ways to troubleshoot your car alarm include:
  • Remotely locking or unlocking the car
  • Open the trunk
  • Disconnect the vehicle’s battery.
