How reliable is a Tesla Model S?

Are Teslas actually as unreliable as people say they are on the internet? I’ve heard terrible things about other Tesla models online, but I haven’t heard much about the Model S. Is that model better?

When it comes to reliability, the
Tesla Model S
 isn’t the best choice. Tesla’s Model S, Model Y, and Model X all have below-average reliability ratings, making the brand’s reputation for unreliable vehicles an unfortunate reality.
There are a few different problems reported with the Model S, but some of the most common include:
  • Misaligned panels
  • Issues with the heat pumps and air conditioning
  • Alignment issues with the wheels
With that being said, however, the Model S still rates significantly better than the Model X! The Model X ranks dead last for reliability, giving it the title of the most unreliable car on the market.
