How much trunk space is there in a Kia Rio?
I’m going on a trip to a new city and want to rent a car so I can explore while I’m there. I have the option of renting a Kia Rio but I will have a couple of suitcases and want to ensure there will be enough room for them to fit. How big is a Kia Rio’s trunk space?

Renting a vehicle is a great way for you to explore the sights without having to figure out a city’s local public transportation system. However, the car won’t feel very convenient if it can’t transport your belongings.
A Kia Rio sedan has 13.7 cubic feet of cargo space, while the 2021 hatchback model has 17.4 cubic feet, which is fairly average for a subcompact car.
If needed, you can fold down the rear seats to increase the cargo space to 38.2 cubic feet in the hatchback. You can fold down the rear seats in the sedan, but you won’t have quite as much space as in the hatchback.
If you have the choice, opting for the hatchback will give you more room to experience adventures in your new city.
