How much does it cost to lift a RAM 1500?

I have a RAM 1500, but I’m interested in adding a lift kit to improve ground clearance and add larger tires. I’ve never lifted a truck, so I want to create a budget beforehand. How much does a lift kit cost for a RAM 1500?

In general, it costs about $400 to $6,000 to lift a RAM 1500, although prices vary based on what you’re looking to achieve. An aesthetic lift is between $400 and $1,000 in the lower range. This is probably the best option for what you want to do, although low-end lift kits are often more difficult to steer.
If you want something for off-roading, you’ll spend a few thousand dollars, including installation. The major difference is that an off-roading lift kit improves the overall suspension of your truck, resulting in better performance while maintaining its appearance.
Once you install the lift kit, inform your current insurer or start shopping around for coverage. Modifications change the value of your vehicle, so you’ll want that reflected in your policy.
