How Much Does A Chevy Trailblazer Weigh?
I have a Chevy Trailblazer, and I want to load it up for an epic cross-country road trip with my family. We want to take all of our camping gear and bring bikes along. I know overloading my car can cause problems. How much does my Chevy Trailblazer weigh?

It sounds like you’re in for quite an adventure—how fun!
You should understand a few different weight measurements before packing up your car. First, you need to know your car’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), which tells you how much weight your vehicle can handle (passengers, luggage, fuel, towing capacity, etc.).
Second, you’ll need the curb weight, which means how much your car weighs just sitting unloaded and without passengers.
While the exact weight varies by model year, your Trailblazer should have a curb weight of about 3,000 pounds.
To figure out how much you can load up in your car or payload capacity, you need to use this formula:
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVR) − Curb Weight (CW) = Payload Capacity
You can carry about 1,400 pounds in your Trailblazer. Keep in mind that this weight includes all passengers, gas in the tank, all luggage, and any small trailers.
