How much does a 2014 GMC Acadia transmission replacement cost?
So apparently I’m going to need a new transmission after some random jerks flipped my 2014 GMC Acadia last night in the parking lot. Apparently, my insurance isn’t going to cover it because it wasn’t related to a collision at all—which seems like nonsense. Anyway, how much can I expect this replacement to cost me?

The cost of the new transmission is probably going to be somewhere between $1,800 and $2,400, while the rest of the cost accounts for labor. Replacing a transmission is a pretty involved process and it takes a while, so the labor costs tend to be quite high.
