How many lessons are required to pass a driving test?

I want to get my driver’s license as soon as possible, but I just started driver’s ed courses. I know I need to pass the written exam at the end of classes. But how many lessons do I need to pass a driving test?

In almost every state, you’re required to have six one-hour lessons with a certified driving instructor to pass a driving test.
On top of this, most states also require 30 hours of classroom instruction plus a certain amount of supervised driving with a family member. The specifics vary from state to state.
For example, in
New Jersey
, you only need six one-hour lessons with a licensed driving instructor, but you need six months of supervised driving with a family member. You also have to be 17 years old to get your license.
Check with your driver’s ed teacher or search your DMV’s website to find out about your state’s criteria.
Once you get your license, you’ll definitely need car insurance. If you’re not sure where to start your search, download the
