How many Ford Thunderbolts were made?
I’ve heard a lot about the Ford Thunderbolt but I’ve never seen one. I guess they’re super rare. How many Thunderbolts did Ford make?

cars ever made, with only 100 models produced for the 1964 model year. Of these models, only 60 are still around today.That’s because the Thunderbolt was developed as an experimental racing car to secure an NHRA Championship. Even though many of the Thunderbolts were wrecked in crashes on the drag strip, Gaspar “Gas” Ronda managed to drive a Thunderbolt to victory at a top speed of 123 mph.
Since the Ford Thunderbolt is so rare, the price tag may not come as too much of a shock. The average Ford Thunderbolt sells for $166,141—if you’re lucky enough to find one!
