How many cylinders does a Ford EcoSport have?
I’m currently driving a Ford EcoSport as a rental car, and I have to say, I’m a bit underwhelmed. It’s got next to nothing when it comes to pep, and I’m curious as to what’s under the hood. How many cylinders does a Ford EcoSport have?

The Ford EcoSport just never caught on, and a lackluster driving experience is part of the reason why. The Ford EcoSport has a four-cylinder engine that generates 166 horsepower.
This was the only engine option available, and reviewers panned the EcoSport’s driving demeanor as being “the opposite of quick.” Folks who were hoping that the “Eco” meant good gas mileage were disappointed as well, as the 25 mpg combined that it got wasn’t terrible, but definitely less efficient than the competition.
Hopefully next time you’ll pick up a rental with a little more get up and go! But on the plus side, the EcoSport is very compact, so it’s easy to park, right?
