How far can you drive on a Subaru spare tire?

Would I be able to drive home on my Subaru spare tire? I would like to take my car home to get the tire changed since I have a warranty at my local tire shop, but I don’t know if the spare will make it that far.

A
Subaru
spare tire will usually last 50 to 70 miles before experiencing problems. If you choose to keep driving on the spare tire, you may have issues with your transmission or other parts of your car as a result.
It’s also important to note that you shouldn’t drive more than 50 mph on a spare tire, either. Doing so increases the risk of a blown-out tire, which is the opposite of what you want when you’re already trying to get your tire replaced!
