How does the Tesla Model Y Performance compare to the Long Range?
Is the Model Y Performance better than the Long Range, or is there a big difference between them? I don’t really understand why there are two different Model Ys available and I’m trying to figure out which one I want to buy.

There are a few differences between the
Tesla Model Y
Performance and Long Range options, including:- Price: The Long Range starts at $58,990 while the Performance starts at $63,990.
- Range: The Long Range has a larger range of 316 miles on a full charge while the Performance has a range of 291 miles.
- Acceleration: The Long Range can go from 0-60 in 4.8 seconds while the Performance only takes 3.5 seconds.
- Comfort: The Long Range model is made for distance driving and is therefore much more comfortable than the Performance—with reduced cabin noise.
