Matrix, you have a couple of options.Your headlight control knob can be moved to the DRL OFF option if it has one, as some Toyotas do.
A Toyota Service Center may also be able to permanently disable your DRLs if you want, but this would also prevent your automatic headlights from working as well. They should be able to give you more information if you have additional questions about how they operate.
