How do you reset the maintenance required light on a Toyota Sienna?

I’ve been having some issues with the maintenance required light on my 2015 Toyota Sienna. I’ve already taken the car in to be serviced but the light won’t go away. How can I reset the maintenance light myself?

Follow these steps to reset the maintenance required light on your 2015
Toyota Sienna
:
  • Step 1: Turn your key in the ignition to Accessory Mode or press the push-button once without putting your foot on the brake. Your engine should not be on.
  • Step 2: Use the trip odometer button on the instrument cluster to get to the Trip A readout.
  • Step 3: Turn off your Sienna.
  • Step 4: Hold down the trip odometer button and start your engine while continuing to hold.
  • Step 5: When your odometer display reads all zeros, you have reset the maintenance light.
  • Step 6: Turn your car off again.
These steps should work for all Toyota Sienna models, regardless of the model year
When in doubt: Bring your Sienna to your mechanic or local Toyota dealership to have the light reset.
