While it’s convenient to have a Wall Connector at home, it means you’ll sometimes have to troubleshoot and perform maintenance or updates. That said, resetting your
Tesla
wall charger is pretty straightforward.
Here’s what you need to do:
  1. Turn the circuit breaker off. If the light on your Wall Connector is solid red, you’ll want to turn off the circuit breaker the charger connects to.
  2. Wait five seconds. After you wait five seconds, turn the circuit breaker back on. Doing this is often called power cycling.
  3. Check the charger’s status. If the light is green, your Wall Connector has reset successfully.
If the light remains red, you’ll need to contact Tesla directly. There’s likely a bigger issue a certified technician may need to repair. Since the Wall Connector is a piece of electrical equipment, you want to avoid making any drastic changes or adjustments. To avoid injury, it’s best to leave it to professionals.
