How do you remove a BMW key from the ignition?
This seems like a silly question, but I think that my key is stuck in the ignition and I’m not sure how to get it out. I can still drive my car, but I don’t like to leave my key sitting in there when it’s not in use (for obvious reasons). How do you get a stuck key out of a BMW’s ignition?

key from the ignition due to damage to the key or the ignition cylinder.You can try to remove the key by force, but that could cause more damage to your ignition cylinder. Instead, it’s probably best to talk to your mechanic. Once they get the key out, they can perform the necessary repairs and help you replace your vehicle’s key to ensure that this doesn’t happen again.
