How do I put my Honda Ridgeline into 4 wheel drive? We recently got our first snow of the year and I want to switch my new truck over for the winter months.

It’s definitely safer to have 4 wheel drive enabled if you’ll be driving in the snow! To put a
Honda Ridgeline
in 4 wheel drive, you’ll need to follow these steps:
  1. Turn off the vehicle stability assist (VSA) by holding down the button for about six seconds.
  2. Place your truck in first gear.
  3. Click the button labeled VTM. This stands for Variable Torque Management and turns on your 4 wheel drive system.
  4. Once on, the rear differential lock should work in first gear, second gear, or reverse.
Now you can feel safe driving in winter weather!
