How do you program a 2021 Lexus garage door opener?
I am leasing a new Lexus LX and it came equipped with a garage door opener, but I am not sure how to set it up with my garage. How do you program a 2021 Lexus garage door opener?

has so many great tech features, and none is more practical than the HomeLink garage opener. Never worry about losing your remote again!To program a 2021 Lexus garage door opener, you just need your regular garage remote and a few minutes in your car.
Here is what you need to do:
- Press and hold buttons #1 and #3 on your HomeLink system until you see a flashing green light above the buttons, and then release.
- Take your normal garage door remote and hold it within 2-3 inches of your rearview mirror.
- Press and hold the garage door remote button and HomeLink button #1 at the same time until the light turns green and begins to flash. Release both buttons.
- This should program your Lexus’ garage opener, so press button #1 and give it a try.
If your opener still isn’t linked, you may have a rolling code garage door. If this is the case, here’s what you do:
- Go to the garage door control box in the garage and find the “smart” or “learn” button and press it once.
- Within 30 seconds, get back into your car and press HomeLink button #1.
- If the garage door opens or closes, you have programmed your Lexus successfully.
