How do you open the gas tank on a Cadillac Escalade from 2021?
I recently bought an Escalade and the guy at the dealership taught me how to use the gas tank, but I forget what he said. What button do I push to open the gas tank in my 2021 Cadillac?

There’s a lot to remember when you buy a car! To open the gas tank on a
Cadillac Escalade
from 2021, you’ll need to follow these steps:- Turn off your car and unlock all the doors. If you don’t unlock your doors, the fuel door on your vehicle will remain locked, too.
- Exit your vehicle to access the fuel door from the outside.
- Gently, press inward on the fuel door until you hear a soft click. This will indicate that your fuel door has released.
- When you let go, your vehicle’s fuel door should pop open slightly. From there, you’ll be able to swing the door fully open to access the gas cap.
- Finally, unscrew the gas cap to gain full access to your gas tank.
If this process doesn’t work, it’s possible that your vehicle is experiencing an electrical issue causing the fuel door to remain locked even after you unlock your car. In these cases, you’ll need to talk to a mechanic to get the issue figured out.
