How do you jack a lowered car?

I have a lowered car, and I need to lift it to do some extra work on it. A typical floor jack won’t fit underneath my car, and I’m not quite sure what to do. How do you jack up a lowered car?

Lowered cars still need to be worked on sometimes, so they need to be jacked up somehow. Even if their ground clearance is so low a standard jack can’t fit underneath the
car
, you have a few options to try.
The first option is buying a low-profile floor jack. Many manufacturers produce jacks with cradle heights meant for fitting beneath lowered cars. However, they are usually some of the most expensive floor jacks available.
Don’t want to pay for a low-profile floor jack? The other option is lifting the car high enough to fit a standard jack under it by using ramps. Drive the car over the ramps, slide the floor jack underneath, and you’re ready to go!
