To delete a phone from Mercedes
Bluetooth, you must open the “Telephone” settings by pressing the “TEL” button on your dashboard or navigating to it on your infotainment screen. Exactly which buttons you press next will depend on your Mercedes’ model year, but in general, look for either “Bluetooth” or “Connect Device.” Regardless of which one is in your vehicle, both will bring you another settings screen with a list of all the mobile devices paired to your Mercedes via Bluetooth.
Scroll to the phone you’d like to delete, then scroll to the right until you’re on an icon that looks like three horizontal lines (like a little hamburger), a phone with a little arrow, or a gear icon. Select that icon, then “deauthorize,” then “yes.”
Once you click “deauthorize,” the phone will no longer be connected via Bluetooth. You’d follow similar steps to connect your phone. You’d still go either to “Bluetooth” or “Connect Device,” but you’d select “Search for phones.” Just make sure that your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled so that it’s discoverable to your car!
