How do you connect Bluetooth to a 2012 Ford Escape? I’ve had mine for a few years, but I’ve never gotten around to setting it up.

When you’re ready, you can easily pair a Bluetooth device to your Escape in just a couple of minutes. Here’s how you can connect a Bluetooth device to a 2012
Ford Escape
:
  • Turn Bluetooth on in the settings on your device
  • Press the phone button on your steering wheel
  • When you see the option to add a Bluetooth device, press “OK” on the steering wheel
  • Press “OK’ again when prompted
  • Check your device for available Bluetooth connections and select the “SYNC” option. When prompted, enter the PIN provided on the screen on your dashboard.
Once you’ve confirmed the PIN, you should be all set!
It’s worth noting that the Bluetooth feature on the 2012
Ford
Escape will primarily be for making hands-free phone calls as opposed to streaming music or other audio from your phone. If you’re looking for that capability, you could use a compatible
aftermarket Bluetooth adapter
or upgrade the sound system.
