How do you check the tire pressure on a Fiat 500?

I’ve had a Fiat 500 for a few years now, and it’s my favorite car I’ve ever owned! However, it’s been handling a bit weirdly. I think the tire pressure might be off. How do I check tire pressure?

Checking the tire pressure on a Fiat 500 is surprisingly easy—the car’s tire pressure monitoring system should give you some insight. If you see a dashboard light that looks like a tire with an exclamation point in it, this is the TPMS alerting you that your tire pressure is off.
Check your tires manually if the TPMS light is on. Here’s how:
  1. Get out of your vehicle and go to one of your tires.
  2. Unscrew the cap from the valve stem.
  3. Using a tire gauge, press against the valve stem. This will give you a PSI, or pounds per square inch, tire pressure rating.
  4. Fill or deflate the tires as necessary. If you need to deflate them, use the backside of the tire gauge. If you need to fill them, use compressed air like you’d find at a gas station.
The Fiat 500’s tire pressure should be 32 PSI.
