How do you check the tire pressure on a 2021 Toyota Camry?

I once had a blowout on the interstate, and now I’m paranoid about getting a flat tire. I just got a 2021 Toyota Camry. How do I check the tire pressure on it?

If your tires get below the suggested tire pressure, your Camry’s tire pressure sensors will alert you—just keep an eye out for the tire pressure warning light on your dashboard. Whether your dashboard light is on or not, it’s a good idea to take a look for yourself fairly regularly, though.
Here’s how to check the tire pressure on a 2021 Toyota Camry:
  • Consult with your owner’s manual or the sticker on the driver’s side door frame to find out the recommended tire pressure for your specific car. For most 2021 Camrys, this will be 36 PSI for both the front and rear tires.
  • For each tire, remove the valve cap, then place a
    tire pressure gauge
    squarely onto the valve stem.
  • The gauge will immediately show you the tire pressure. Adjust your tire pressure as needed, whether you need to let air out or add more.
It’s suggested that you check your tire pressure about once a month—but especially when seasons change or before going on a long trip. Maintaining correct tire pressure can make a big difference when it comes to avoiding unexpected costs—like pricey repairs or expensive car accidents.
Speaking of extra costs, there’s a chance you’re overpaying for
