How do you change the clock on a Honda Civic from 2008?

My brother and I are driving from South Carolina to Texas and back again. I know it’s a small detail, but I don’t like driving cars with the wrong time on the display. Since we’ll be going in and out of different time zones, what’s the easiest way to set the clock on a Civic?

Not wanting to drive around with your clock displaying the wrong time is completely understandable!
Fortunately, you can change the clock on a 2008 Honda Civic very easily by following these instructions:
  1. Put the car in park and access accessory mode. This is when the car is on but the engine is not running.
  2. Press and hold the AM/FM button on your radio controls.
  3. Use the number 1 and 2 buttons to change the hour and minute, or the number 3 button to reset the clock. Each button will be denoted by a small H, M, or R to indicate what it does.
  4. Press and hold the AM/FM button again to exit clock settings. The numbers on the display will stop blinking when you have done so.
