How do I unclog a car radiator?

How can I unclog the radiator so my car doesn't overheat during the summer in Nevada? I've noticed that my car keeps overheating, but I don't see a crack in the radiator. My instinct is that I think it's clogged.

“To unclog your radiator, you’ll need to drain the coolant and flush the radiator.
Start by draining the coolant. It will typically hold about 2 to 3 gallons, so make sure the receptacle is large enough. Dispose of the coolant properly.
Next, you’ll want to flush out the radiator. Disconnect the top and bottom hoses from the radiator and attach a garden hose to the top hole. Turn on the hose to clear the clog.
Put everything back together, add fresh coolant to the radiator, and fire up the car. Your car should be running smoothly now if a clog was indeed the problem.
