Feel along the edge of the key fob until you locate a small hole. Insert a small flathead screwdriver or use your metal key to pry off the back panel of the key fob.
Carefully remove the old battery. Make sure to note where the negative and positive terminals are situated, as you’ll need to orient your new battery the same way.
Place your new battery in the key fob. Try not to touch the terminals as you do this since that can decrease the battery life of your key.
Finally, replace the back panel. You should feel a click when the two halves are properly attached. Then, you can insert the metal key and test out your new key fob battery!
