How do I turn on the passenger airbag in a Toyota RAV4?

The airbag light on the passenger side of my car says OFF, but I’d like it on when someone gets in the car. How do I enable the passenger-side airbag in my Toyota RAV4?

! In most vehicles, including the RAV4, the passenger airbag is automatically enabled when a person weighing more than 65 pounds sits in the front passenger seat.
Of course, there is a way to turn on the airbag in other circumstances, as well. On RAV4 model years 2015-plus, you can open the front passenger door and look for a keyhole labeled AIRBAG OFF/AIRBAG ON. Use your key to toggle to the setting you prefer.
