How do I turn off the lane departure warning in a Toyota RAV4?

My new RAV4 came with Toyota Safety Sense, but I’d love to be able to turn it off if I want. Can I disable lane departure warnings on my Toyota?

Congratulations on your new car! I definitely understand wanting to turn off the lane departure warning on your
Toyota RAV4
periodically. So, let’s talk about how you can disable it.
Find the lane departure alert (LDA) button on your steering wheel. It will look like a vehicle crossing over a lane line.
Press the button to deactivate the system if it’s already on. You should see the lane lines disappear from your dashboard screen. The LDA system will stay on or off even when you turn off the engine and restart it.
