How do I start a hybrid car when the battery is low?
When I’ve been driving my Avalon Hybrid recently, I noticed that the battery has been low. This morning it had a bit of charge, but I couldn’t get the car to turn over. How can I start the car when the battery is low?

Avalon Hybrid
when the battery is low, you have two options:- Let it idle and run for 20 minutes. Once you charge the battery, drive around for about 15 minutes to restore the battery to an acceptable charge.
- Try using a battery charger by attaching the red cable to the battery fuse in the fuse box and then the black cable to the ground, which is just a piece of metal under the hood.
If charging the battery for about 15 minutes doesn’t work, you will probably have to replace the battery. In this case, you can expect a cost of about $2,000 to $5,000, depending on where you get the battery and if it’s new or used.
