Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the oil life on your Honda Odyssey Touring
! Fortunately, resetting the oil light is easy. To reset the oil life light on a 2007 Honda Odyssey, use the trip button located on the instrument cluster. More specifically, follow these instructions:
Turn your key to the on or accessories position. Don’t start the engine.
Wait for the instrument cluster to turn on.
Locate the trip button on the bottom-right side of the instrument cluster.
Press the trip button until you see oil life.
Press and hold the trip button continuously for 10 seconds.
Once the oil life flashes, release the button.
Finally, press and hold the trip button again until it resets to 100%.
Keep in mind that your oil light is much different than your oil life indicator. If your oil light keeps coming on, you may have a significant issue, such as a leak in the system or low oil pressure. In either case, take your Odyssey to the mechanic to solve the issue.
