How do I replace a Mini Cooper key fob battery?
My Mini Cooper’s key fob is starting to get jumpy. I’ve already bought a new battery, but have never had to change one of these before. For Mini Coopers, how do you replace the key fob battery?

Most people have to replace their
key fob
batteries every three to four years, so you’ll be a pro in no time. Here is the super simple process of how to replace a Mini Cooper
key fob battery:- Press the small silver release button to remove the physical key from the fob
- Turn the fob over, insert the key into the small slot on the back case, and gently pry the fob open
- Then use the key in the same way to remove the battery compartment cover
- Remove the old battery. It can be helpful to use a small pointed tool for this
- Insert the new battery with the positive side facing up
- Replace the battery compartment cover, the back case of the fob, and the physical key
