How do I remove shoe polish from my car window?

I used shoe polish to write a congratulatory message on my car for my son's graduation—and I just realized that it might damage the car. How do I remove shoe polish from the window without any issues?

Big congratulations to your son—and no worries! The best way to get rid of shoe polish on your car window is to use an aerosol glass cleaner.
Simply spray the glass cleaner on the window, let it soak in, and then use a razor blade at a 45-degree angle to scrape away the polish without damaging the glass.
Make sure to take care when doing this, as your
extended warranty
likely won’t cover scratches on side or rear windows!
