“Removing rust from your car’s rotors only requires some brake cleaner and a wire brush.
Try this:
Spray the rotors with brake cleaner.
Let it sit for a few minutes.
Wipe the cleaner off.
Scrub away any remaining rust with the brush.
Repeat the process if necessary.
Remember that brake cleaner is toxic. Make sure to set a drip tray below the rotors and use personal protective equipment. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, ask a repairman to do the job.
