How do I remove feces odor from car seat?
My dog had an accident when I took her to the park today. How do I remove feces odor from my car seat?

Accidents happen with pets! Luckily, there are products you can buy that will remove the smell from your car seats.
Before you begin to tackle the odor, make sure all solid waste is cleaned up. Use a scraper or piece of cardboard to scoop any remaining hard fecal matter into a trash bag. Don’t apply too much pressure, so you don’t force particles deeper into your car seat.
Once the solid matter is taken care of:
- Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda into the area.
- Use a wet towel to soak up the powder and remaining particles. Make sure to dab, not rub.
- Use an enzyme cleaner to handle the smell. These cleaners address the smell by breaking down the scent molecules from the feces. A bottle is only a few dollars and at most pet stores. Follow the directions on the bottle for proper use, and make sure to keep your windows open, so your car has a chance to air out and dry completely.
