How do I program a 2013 Ford Edge key fob?

How can I program my 2013 Ford Edge key fob? I just got some new installments made on my car and I want to program my fob to fit those new modifications. How do I do that?

Congrats on your new
car modifications
! Programming your Ford’s key fob is easy.
Here’s what you need to do:
  • Make sure all of the doors but the driver’s-side door are closed. Press the UNLOCK button on your driver’s door.
  • Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN eight times. Do this within 10 seconds of each other, making sure the eighth time ends on RUN.
  • Press any button on the Ford remote to be programmed. Do this within eight seconds. The door locks will cycle again to confirm the keyless entry remote is programmed.
After that, you should be good to go!
