How do I play music through Bluetooth in a Chevy Cruze 2016?

My parents are loaning me their car for a few weeks while mine is in the shop. I want to be able to listen to my music and podcasts while I commute. How do I play music through Bluetooth in a Chevy Cruze 2016?

To play music through Bluetooth in a
Chevy Cruze
2016, you’ll have to pair the devices and then select your phone as the source of audio.
The good news is that it’s really easy to play music in your parents’ Cruze. The bad news is that it may not be possible via Bluetooth, as not all Cruze trim levels offer music streaming via Bluetooth.
We recommend that you use Apple CarPlay to make things simpler. This requires a wired connection so you’ll need to plug your phone into the car and enable Siri and Apple CarPlay in your phone’s settings. Once the pairing is complete, you should see an Apple CarPlay option on the Cruze’s touchscreen.
You can now use Siri or the touchscreen to play your music through the car’s speakers.
You can still use Bluetooth to do hands-free calls, but music streaming via Bluetooth may not be possible in the 2016 Cruze depending on your trim level.
If it’s going to make or break your commute, you can also try an aftermarket adapter. It’s relatively easy to add a Bluetooth adapter to an older car, and then you’ll be able to stream music every time you visit your parents.
