How do I play music through Bluetooth in a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox?
I just recently got a used 2015 Chevy Equinox and it unfortunately no longer contains the user manual. I am not quite sure how to hook my phone’s music up to the car’s Bluetooth, though. How can I do that?

Congrats on your used car purchase! I’m sorry about the lost user manual, though, that can be frustrating in situations such as this.
To play music through Bluetooth in a 2015
Chevrolet Equinox
, you’ll need to first ensure your phone is paired to the vehicle. Follow these steps to pair your device and get your tunes playing:- Turn your vehicle on and keep it in Park
- Find and select the Phone icon on your Chevy’s infotainment display
- Find and select the option to pair a new device which may say “Add Phone”, “Pair Device” or something similar
- Open your device’s Bluetooth settings to make sure Bluetooth is on, then select your vehicle from the connection options listed
- Confirm the same code is displayed on the vehicle’s infotainment display and on your phone
- Select the Pair option on the vehicle’s infotainment display and accept the pairing on your device if necessary
- Once the pairing is successful, navigate to your vehicle’s Audio Source display
- Select Bluetooth, then your device’s name
After you’ve selected your phone, you can begin playing your music and it should come through the Equinox’s speakers! If you don’t see your device under the Bluetooth audio options on your vehicle, you may have to repeat the process to successfully pair your device.
