How do I open the gas tank of a 2019 Dodge Ram?
Okay, I’m feeling a little silly. I’m borrowing my sister’s truck this week, and I want to give it back with a full tank, but I can’t find the fuel door button. Can you tell me how to open the gas tank of a 2019 Dodge Ram so I can fill it up for her?

, just follow these steps:- Exit the truck
- Walk back along the driver’s side until you see the square-shaped fuel door
- Lightly press on the bottom right corner of the fuel door and it’ll pop open
In addition to having no fuel door button, the 2019 Dodge Ram also doesn’t have an actual gas cap on the tank. Once you’ve got the door open, just insert the pump nozzle, and you’re good to go!
Your sister’s tank will hold between 23 and 26 gallons, so hopefully, it’s not completely empty when you go to fill it up. Even if it is, rest assured you can get by with basic regular fuel—no need to spring for the expensive high-octane stuff!
