How do I get wax off of leather car seats?
How can I get wax off of my new, leather car seats? I'm an esthetician and I often keep eyebrow wax in my car in case I run out. Some of my wax beads spilled out without me realizing, and they melted in my car on my leather seats. I need to get the wax off the seats now, but I don't know what to do! How can I fix this?
- Gently scrape the wax off with a plastic knife or spatula. Try not to scrape the leather.
- Use a hair dryer on warm to soften the wax. Blot the wax with a paper towel or cloth.
- If there’s still wax leftover, apply the leather cleaner to the stain. Wipe the leather cleaner with a rag using circular motions until it’s gone.
- Finish up by wiping the stained area with a leather conditioner.
