How do I get permanent marker off the fabric in the seat of my car?

My son accidentally dropped a permanent marker in the backseat of my car and it made a sizable mark. How do I get rid of this?

Although permanent marker is tough to get off your seats, it’s definitely doable! Here’s what you need to do:
  • Blot the stain with a paper towel or cloth
  • Spray down with hair spray and let dry
  • Wipe the stain with a cloth
  • Repeat as necessary

, soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and repeat the process.
