What's the best way to get gum off floor mats? My daughter tried to spit her gum out the window on a road trip. I wasn't too pleased when I discovered she missed.

“Although you might think heat is the best way to get gum off car floor mats, cold works better.
Here’s what you should do:
- Remove the floor mat from the car.
- Spray the gum with a can of compressed air, which will make the gum rock hard.
- Use tweezers or a fork to remove it.
- Vacuum away any gum bits that remain.
