How do I connect a Chevrolet Impala to Android Auto?
I just picked up a 2020 Impala from a used lot, and can’t wait to start driving around. But, I want to connect it to my phone first. Can you tell me how to pair a Chevrolet Impala with Android Auto?

Pairing your Chevrolet Impala with Android Auto is pretty simple and straightforward, and you can do it either via a USB port or wirelessly via Bluetooth. Here are some step-by-step instructions for both:
Via USB Port:
- Park your vehicle.
- Plug one end of the USB into your Android and the other into one of your Impala’s USB ports. During this step, your phone may prompt you to download the latest version of Android Auto, Google Maps, or other related apps.
- It should automatically launch. If not, select the Android Auto or the Projection icon on the infotainment screen.
- Follow the prompts and accept the terms and conditions.
Via Bluetooth:
- Park your vehicle
- Select the Android Auto icon on your infotainment screen
- Pair your phone with the infotainment system via Bluetooth. To do this, go to the Phone icon on your infotainment screen > then “Add Phone” > turn on Bluetooth on your Android > Confirm the code displayed on your infotainment screen matches the one on your phone > then select “Pair” on your infotainment screen.
- Follow the prompts and accept the terms and conditions
