How do I check tire pressure on an Audi Q5?

I have an Audi Q5 that’s been driving a bit erratically as of late. I think that the tires are probably the culprit, but I want to make sure that that’s the issue. How can I check the tire pressure on my Q5?

Sorry to hear about your Audi Q5 driving a bit oddly. Hopefully, it’s just the tire pressure—it’s a quick and easy fix. Here’s how to check tire pressure on an Audi Q5:
  1. Find the proper tire pressure or PSI on the placard on the inside of the driver’s door jamb.
  2. Locate the valve stem on your tire. It doesn’t matter which one you start with.
  3. Press a tire pressure gauge to the valve stem to get the PSI.
  4. Add air through a compressor or remove air using the backside of the tire gauge until you reach the proper tire pressure.
  5. Repeat for all tires.
If you think that tire pressure is the issue, make sure to look at your dashboard for the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS), denoted by a tire tread with an exclamation point in the middle. You may also be due for a wheel alignment.
