It’s true that the 2012 Dodge Avenger’s battery location isn’t in the best of places. Located between the driver’s side tire and fender, you can gain basic access to your 2012 Avenger’s battery simply by popping the hood. But to remove it, you’ll have to go through the wheel well, which will require first lifting the vehicle and then removing the driver’s side tire.
