How do I check tire pressure on a 2018 Ford Focus?

My Ford Focus isn’t handling nearly as well as it used to. The past few times that I’ve driven, it’s pulled to the right, which is making it difficult to drive. I’m fairly certain that it might be an issue with tire pressure. What do I need to do to check the tire pressure on a 2018 Focus?

Unlike other modern cars, the 2018 Ford Focus doesn’t come with a phone or infotainment app to check your tire pressure. Instead, you’ll need to look out for the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) light—denoted by a tire with an exclamation point—illuminated on your dash. If you see this, your tires need some air or deflation.
To manually check the tire pressure on a 2018 Ford Focus, follow these steps:
  1. Look at the door jamb on the driver’s side to find the correct PSI. The correct tire pressure for manufacturer wheels on a 2018 Ford Focus is 35 PSI.
  2. Located the valve stem on your tire and unscrew it.
  3. Press the tire gauge against the valve stem. This will give you the PSI.
  4. Fill or deflate the tire as necessary using compressed air to add pressure or the back of the tire gauge to release pressure.
  5. You’re done!
