If your Altima’s Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) detects low tire pressure, the dashboard warning light will illuminate to let you know. And depending on your model, your instrument cluster may display each tire’s air pressure.
Either way, you can check the tire pressure of a Nissan Altima from 2012 by following these steps:
Double-check with your owner’s manual to find the correct air pressure for your specific model. You can also find out by looking at the sticker placed on the door frame. For most 2012 Altimas, the recommended tire pressure is 32 to 33 psi for every tire.
Remove the valve stem cap from your tire. Insert a
