How can I find cheap insurance as a teen driver for my 2014 Nissan Maxima if I live in Illinois?
I've been shopping for insurance on my 2014 Nissan Maxima that I recently paid off. I live in the Chicago area, I'm 18 and have a clean driving record. But even with a clean driving record, companies are quoting me $250 or more per month. Where can I find cheap insurance?

That said, a 2014 Nissan Maxima isn’t classified as a sports car and you have a clean driving record, so these factors should help you.
Your best bet is to forego an individual insurance policy and find out if your parents can add you to their
car insurance
. A parent adding a teen to their policy is cheaper than you buying your own policy. You may also get more discounts through a smart driving program, a good student discount, and a multi-car discount. Ask your parents to talk to their current insurance company for a quote.”
