How bad is traffic on Interstate 80?
Where is the worst traffic on Interstate 80? I’m comparing road trip routes and I-80 is a lot faster, but I’m worried that the traffic will make it a bad choice for me.

The traffic on Interstate 80 is typically at its worst near major cities—and I-80 runs pretty close to a lot of big cities in the U.S. Some areas with lots of traffic to watch out for include:
New York is notorious for being one of the worst cities for traffic in the United States, so you’ll need to drive carefully if you’re planning to use Interstate 80 in that area!
