Does the Kia warranty cover the clutch?
I only have the basic warranty for my new Kia. I think I might have made a mistake, but I’m not sure what it covers. I’m particularly interested in whether it covers the clutch. Is the clutch included in a Kia warranty?

Have fun with your new Kia! The Kia warranty does not cover the clutch.
Also not covered under the Kia New Vehicle Warranty is the replenishment of oils, fluids, or coolant or replacement of wiper blades, fan belts, filters, brake linings, spark plugs, gaskets, or light globes.
Most car manufacturers, including Kia, don’t cover the clutch because this component can be abused too easily. Drivers have a tendency to leave their foot on it or subject it to other behaviors that can speed up wear and tear.
Most warranties only cover defects that are the result of errors in manufacturing and materials that were used in the vehicle’s production.
