Does the Jeep warranty cover a cracked windshield?
I was driving around town in my Jeep the other day when I noticed a small crack at the top portion of the windshield. I have no idea how it happened, but I know it wasn’t through any fault of my own. Will my Jeep warranty cover a cracked windshield?

Unfortunately, Jeep isn’t likely to cover a cracked windshield under warranty. The only way your Jeep warranty would kick in is if you could prove that the windshield cracked as a result of a manufacturer defect or poor craftsmanship. But since the onus of proof is on your shoulders, it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to prove it to Jeep.
Cracked windshields are usually considered wear and tear, so you probably won’t be covered. Depending on your Jeep model, you can reasonably expect to pay between $200 and $1,200 for a new windshield.
